Horizons Emerging Technology

     I am an economics geek at heart, when I see something in the paper about the IMF I get excited. When a news sight is interviewing Ben Bernanke I have to watch it. The passion I have for economics I want to spread to as many people as possible. One part that I like so much is the research you can do. There is so much research that can and needs to be done, and the fact that in the next 4-5 years it will be mainstream, is very exciting. When you do research on the effects of a financial crisis in a country you have a lot of qualitative and quantitative variables to sort through, and this will cut down that process and show you the patterns that your brain already wants to make. I am very excited about this emerging piece of technology. I would love to do research and when I do, I hope to have one of these tools like Gapminder or Wordle to aid in my research.
